It’s Been a Couple Weeks: An Update on the Farm and Blogging

You may have noticed that it has been a couple of weeks since I last posted. Our laptop is broken, so I’ve been taking a break. I plan to start posting once a week again.

Our first real spring pasture arrived about a week ago. We moved the Momma cows and their calves to some vibrant green grass. I love it when the little baby calves bed down in grass 2 feet tall. In some places it was even taller, and you could barely see the younger calves when they were grazing. And as usual, I took the opportunity to get some great photos. Here are my favorite three pictures of baby calves and green grass.

Last week we also set up our caterpillar tunnel, which is pretty much like a greenhouse. Yesterday we transplanted a fair amount of plants into the greenhouse. Here are some of my mom’s photos of our caterpillar tunnel/plants this year.

We have already sold two of this year’s baby kids, but we still have 5 left. They are getting big really fast!! Three of the remaining kids have started being weaned. They’re learning how to eat hay and grass as their main source of food and are starting to calm down now. As is my custom, here are some pictures of cute baby kids!

You may remember my blog post on Limited Atonement and what the bible really says about it; if you have not read it, read it here. I’m thinking of doing a couple more posts on Calvinisms and it’s problems, perhaps doing a mini-series on it.

Have a wonderful week!

For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Author: Faith on the Farm

I’m just a Christian girl who’s striving to glorify God here on the farm. I love sunsets, roses, my dog, and about everything you can photograph on a farm. As you’ve probably guessed, I love photography. When I’m not reading my bible or working on schoolwork, you’ll probably find me cooking, practicing cello, or somewhere outside with my dog by my side and camera in hand. I also love to sing my heart out to my Saviour.
