Resurrection Sunday

Happy Resurrection Sunday! What a wonderful day this is! On Good Friday, Yeshua (Jesus) “died…… once for all” (Romans 6:10). He bled and died a horrible death; “..he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities“(Isaiah 53:4). Fulfilling the scriptures he was crucified and breathed his last. With his last breath, he paid for all of our sins. He bore the punishment we deserve, to save us from eternal death. But the disciples didn’t know this yet. He was laid in the tomb, seemingly defeated. But the wages of sin is death, and Jesus was sinless! The grave could not hold him, and he rose from the dead! And we know he is risen indeed!!!

And “Jesus came and stood among them and said ‘Peace be with you!’ Then he said to Thomas ‘Put your finger here, see my hands; put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.’ Thomas answered him ‘My Lord and My God!” (John 20:27-28 emphasis added) How great is our God! How great is our iniquity! How great is our Salvation! We have an awesome Savior! We can know with confidence that he is risen! Praise God, bless him, and thank him for the great gift he gave, the greatest gift of all!

Enjoy your Resurrection Sunday! And live every day glorifying in his holy name!

“Bless the Lord, the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things. Blessed be his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!”

-Psalms 72:18-19 (ESV)

Author: Faith on the Farm

I’m just a Christian girl who’s striving to glorify God here on the farm. I love sunsets, roses, my dog, and about everything you can photograph on a farm. As you’ve probably guessed, I love photography. When I’m not reading my bible or working on schoolwork, you’ll probably find me cooking, practicing cello, or somewhere outside with my dog by my side and camera in hand. I also love to sing my heart out to my Saviour.
